Literature
He Is Not An Edward.
He is not an Edward.
He doesn't stare at me every minute he is with me.
Or smell my hair and watch me sleep.
Won't follow me, like a lost puppy,
Sometimes, he'll even walk away.
He doesn't love me for my faults,
It's in spite of them.
He'll notice pretty girls, even think of
past lovers
When he laughs at me, it's because I'm silly,
Not cute
Or Perfect.
The thought of me getting hurt does not bring tears to his eyes.
He would not die if I died,
He is not an Edward.
And I am not a Bella.
We are real.
Our love is real.
And that,
Is more important, and genuine
Than idealistic, impossible fantasies.
Screw Edward.
Literature
we're never what we think.
at least twice a day, i find myself wishing i was less.
less of a worrier.
less of a lover.
less of a mess.
all of this would be so much better, if the disconnect between
what i want and what i have would close because then things
would be simple for the first time in years. and i could inhale
without wondering what kind of consequences it will have five
minutes from now. you can only imagine what really goes
through my mind in the time it'll take you to breathe in and
out. now hold it. like i've been holding this thought for months
the girl i was is quickly vanishing.
i've been holding it like a secret on the tip of
Literature
reality?
You want me to save
The person you all see;
I'm dying to save
The girl I'll never be.

Erm... Yeah. That's all.
Night. (I keep thinking someone else must have said that, but I looked it up online as a quote and found nothing...)
PS: This is mostly because... well... we're online.
Throughout history people have been afraid of disappearing, but online... it's a sad thought knowing, in some cases, that if one of your friends disappeared from online, or if you disappeared... nobody in their lives would even know you existed.
You'd just... disappear. It's a bit depressing to think about...
My big sis, created a more lighthearted companion to it.
